RCD holding run in Glenn County

The Glenn County Resource Conservation District (RCD) is holding its inaugural "Run Your Tail Off" event May 5 at the Buckhorn Recreation Area at Black Butte Lake.

The 10K run begins at 8 a.m.; the 5K run at 8:30 a.m.; and the 5K walk at 9 a.m. Ticket prices are $25, while the cost for seniors 65 and older, along with youth ages 11-18 is $20; children ages 10 and under are free.

The course is on dirt trails and begins at the boat launch area, T-shirts are guaranteed to all pre-registrants, and youth groups will be selling snacks.

The run will benefit the Glenn County RCD Watershed Education Youth Program.
