Orland 28, Hamilton 0

The Trojans defense was up to the test Friday, keeping the Braves out of the end zone.

Zac Garzoli scored from three yards out in the first quarter, with Aldric Rosas making good on the point-after kick. Rosas then caught a four-yard scoring pass from Garzoli and booted the PAT in the second quarter.

Garzoli scored two more times in the fourth quarter, on runs of 20 and six yards, and Rosas added the PAT after both.

Orland 28, East Nic JV 14

The freshmen Trojans got their first taste of high school victory with a 28-14 win over the junior-varsity squad from East Nic.

The Trojans scored on a four-yard carry by Tyler Weston, and one-yard plunges by Weston Foster and Tyler Batchelder.

Andew Tune also recovered a fumble near the goalline and carried it across.
