Orland wrestlers place at OSU camp

The Orland Takedown Club took 12 wrestlers to Oklahoma State wrestling camp July 13-17 and had several wrestlers place at the camp tournament.

Quintin Hill took second place for 12-year-olds. Justin Hill, who will be a freshman at Orland High School this year, was 1-1 while Jimmy Gamboa was 0-1.

Christian Wathen, a freshman, went 5-0 and took first place in his weight class. Meanwhile current high school wrestlers Dustin Olson and Craig Simons both took second place.

Jordan Garcia finished 1-1 and Keith Bruce competed but did not place.

Nathen Monck and Anthony Ramirez also finished in second place.

The camp was held at the University of Nevada at Reno.
