Starz conducting softball try-outs

The Chico Starz Junior Olympic softball program is holding try-outs Aug. 14 for the 2010 fall season.

The try-outs will be held at Hooker Oak Park.

Players ages 10 and under will show their stuff from 9-11 a.m.; 12 and unders, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.; and 14 and unders, 1-3 p.m. Players are encouraged to arrive 30 minutes early.
