Providence dropped by Dunsmuir

It was Lions, and Tigers, but no bears, oh my Thursday in Dunsmuir, but it was the Tigers who won the battle of the cats in four games, 13-25, 25-20, 23-25, 11-25.

Providence spread the ball around, with five players tallying ace serves, led by Jasmine Ball's four. Also throwing up aces were Alexis Edmonson three; Rebekah Ball, two; and Leah James and Alyssa Peterson, each with one.

Jasmine Ball was the only Lion in double digits with 11 kills, while Rebekah Hill provided five.

With the loss Providence dropped under .500 to 3-4 before trying to even it back up yesterday at home against Paradise Adventist. Next up for the Lions is Redding Adventist Thursday.
