All Star team picks girls from Orland, Clover
Natalie Massa of Clover 4-H Club and Kassidi Buttermore of Orland 4-H Club were selected as the Glenn County 4-H All Star team for 2012-213.
Up to four members are chosen each year for the team. There are 450 members countywide, officials said.
This is Massa's third year for this honor. She has been in 4-H 12 years and had projects in crocheting, arts and crafts, sheep, cooking and been a camp counselor. She received her Platinum Star and is a junior at Willows High School. Her parents are Gene and Cheryl Massa of Willows.
Buttermore is going into her second year as an All Star team member, and has been in 4-H for 11 years and was on the BLAST (Becoming a Leader, All Star in Training) team for two.
Her projects include sheep, veterinary science, goats, stock dogs, archery and dairy along with being a camp counselor.
She also served as a junior leader and Teen leader in veterinary science and is a sophomore at Orland High School. Her parents are Craig and Staci Buttermore of Orland.
The All Stars will attend the State Leadership Conference on Aug. 9-12 at the University of California, Davis.
