Right, can you name the people in this photograph which was printed in the Mar. 16, 1987, issue of the Corning Observer? If you want to take a guess call the Observer at 824-5464 or come by the office at 1208 Solano St. Below, Margaret Walker called and correctly identified the person in Saturday's archive photo as Alma Allen and Berniece Denison. The caption with the photo read, "Prefer paper bags . . . Alma Allen, Maywood Woman's Club beautification chairman, and Berniece Denison, president, display their paper bags at this week's meet. The club prefers the biodegradable paper bags to eliminate litter."
