Victim in East Linda shooting upgraded to fair condition

A Linda man has been upgraded to fair condition at a Sacramento hospital, three days after he was shot.

Jason R. Webster, 32, had been in critical care at U.C. Davis Medical Center since Sunday after being shot by an unknown gunman who remains on the run.

The Yuba County Sheriff’s Department has released few details surrounding the shooting incident in the 5900 block of Woodland Drive, including the possible motive, which they have said remains under investigation.

Sheriff’s detectives have asked for the public’s assistance to identify the shooter.
