Chop shop: Last reported members turn themselves in
The last reported members of the Willows auto-theft ring have turned themselves into authorities and are behind bars.
Timothy Emilio Hernandez, 23, was the last of the wanted individuals in the chop shop case, Glenn County Sheriff Larry Jones reported.
Hernandez turned himself into correctional officers at the Glenn County Jail, just after 3 p.m. on Wednesday.
He was booked on suspicion of two counts of conspiracy to commit a crime, taking a vehicle without the owner's consent, owning a chop shop and theft or extortion of a motor vehicle.
His bail was set at $50,000.
Michael Jon Baker, 19, turned himself in on Friday.
He was also booked on suspicion of two counts of conspiracy to commit a crime, taking a vehicle without the owner's consent, owning a chop shop and theft or extortion of a motor vehicle.

The arrest of eight men and one woman, all from Willows, culminated an 18-month multi-agency investigation led by the California Highway Patrol, which revealed a pattern of stolen vehicles taken to remote areas in Glenn and Butte counties, where they were reportedly taken apart for the purpose of selling their parts.
