Can you name the girl in this photograph which was printed in the July 7, 1988, issue of the Corning Observer? If you want to take a guess, call the Observer at 824-5464 or come by the office at 1208 Solano St. Ross Turner correctly identified the lady in Wednesday's archive picture as Jean Barton. The caption with the photo read, "Buyers Barbecue . . . Jean Barton serve Chris Byrd last night at a special buyers' barbecue at Sun Country Fairgrounds. Dinner was kickoff the next week's fair and Junior Livestock Auction, which will be held Sunday, July 17."
