Veterans wreaths on sale
Wreaths are on sale through Nov. 25, to be placed on veterans graves at 9 a.m. Dec. 15, during the second annual Wreaths Across America, in conjunction with the placing of wreaths at the Tomb of the Unknown at Arlington National Cemetery.
Wreaths are $15 each and will be available at the Orland Crafts Faire Nov. 24 and 25.
Wreaths will be placed on veterans graves at Orland cemeteries.
Plaza pancake breakfast set
The annual Plaza Pancake Breakfast fundraiser will be held from 7-11 a.m. Nov. 10 at Plaza Elementary School, corner of County Road 24 and County Road S, Orland.
Tickets are $5, available at the door.
Breakfast includes pancakes, ham, scrambled eggs; and coffee, juice or milk.
Adopt a Glenn County family
The 22nd annual Glenn County Adopt-a-family/Elder Program is seeking sponsors for the 2012 holiday season.

The event will be held Dec. 14.
Nominations for watershed
The Colusa Glenn Subwatershed Program board of directors seeks nominees to represent growers in Colusa and Glenn counties.
The current grower representative is John Garner, a Colusa County farmer.
The program assists its members to meet requirements of the mandated Irrigated Lands Regulatory Program through the California Regional Water Quality Control Board.
The at-large election will be a by-mail vote. Election and voting rights are open to the active members as of Oct. 1. Ballots are due by Dec. 31.
The election date is Jan. 1, for a three-year term.
