Willows Police Report: July 18
100 E WOOD ST - Officers K. Meek and J. Meek responded to the railroad tracks at Wood Street for an anonymous report of a red Honda stuck on the railroad tracks. Four witnesses observed the driver, David Hernandez Jr. (23), driving the car. Hernandez was arrested for DUI and a probation violation. Hernandez was booked at Glenn County Jail.
1200 W WOOD ST - Officers Vessels, K. Meek and Glenn County Deputy McDonald responded to an anonymous report of 2 males fighting at the car wash on Wood St. Upon arrival, contact was made with a large group. It was found that the subjects were all friends, and they were playing around. They were admonished for loitering and sent on their way.
110 W SYCAMORE ST - CSO Cano responded to 110 W Sycamore St. (Willow Walk) for a report of vandalism. Upon arrival, he contacted Vernon Foley(46) reported sometime last night an unknown subject spray painted gang graffiti on the Waste Management garbage container.
Vernon also advised that the Napa auto parts garbage container had also been tagged.
Chris Carson, an employee at Napa was advised of the graffiti and stated it would be removed.
526 W SYCAMORE ST - Det. McIntyre was dispatched to the Glenn County Court House on a report of a subject that drove to the Court House and may be under the influence of drugs.
Upon arrival Det. McIntyre contacted Bridi Woods (41) in front of the Court House. After speaking with Woods and an evalution it was determined that she was not under the influences of drugs.
201 N LASSEN ST - Glenn County dispatch advised Det. McIntyre that Pamela Baeza (48) was coming by WPD regarding a civil issue.
Baeza advised that her daughter Randi Blackard (19) had placed a restraining order on her and she could not return to the residence. Baeza stated that last week in court Blackard told the Judge that she would be moving out of the residence by next week (07/18/08).
Baeza asked that Det. McIntyre go by the house and see if Blackard had moved as she did not want to break the order.
Det. McIntyre checked the residence and advised Baeza that Blackard had not moved.
S VENTURA ST - Officer J. Meek stopped a car driven by Ginger Blosser,43, of Willows for vehicle code violations on S. Ventura at Willow. Blosser was arrested for driving under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of narcotics,and transportation of narcotics. Blosser was booked into the Glenn County jail.
311 S VILLA AVE - Officer Gridley responded to 311 S Villa Avenue on a report of embezzlement. Upon arrival, it was determined the crime occurred in county jurisdiction and the case was referred to the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office.
815 W LAUREL ST - Officer Gridley and Officer K Meek responded to 815 W Laurel Street (Willows City Pool) on an anonymous report of a juvenile disturbance. Upon arrival, several juveniles were counseled on their behavior.
329 S BUTTE ST - Officers K. Meek and J. Meek responded to 329 S. Butte Street for a report of annoying phone calls. Stephanie Golden (19) requested officers to request Derrick Holmes (20) not to call her anymore. Holmes was contacted and advised not to call Golden.
1000 W LAUREL ST - Sgt Dahl responded to the Century Park to contact Pam Baeza (49 yoa) who was requesting information on child custody matters. Information was provided without incident.
