Soroptimists International of Orland is hosting a wine tasting and appetizer evening from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Portuguese Plaza, 1165 Hoff Way, Orland. Featured speaker is Sharon Wallace, president of the League of Women Voters, who will speak on the history of women’s right to vote.
