Donald Ward, 81, called requesting to speak to a deputy regarding vandalism. Deputy Burns responded to ward`s residence. Ward reported three of his rain bird sprinklers were run over by a passing motorist. Ward pointed out where the sprinklers were located on his front yard near the roadway. Ward estimated a loss of $135, not including cost of installation to replace the sprinklers.

Monica Johnston called requesting to report a violation of a domestic violence restaining order. Deputy Burns responded to Johnston`s fathers residence. Johnston`s father, Sereno Mozzini, 53, has a restraining order preventing his estranged wife, Linda Mozzini, 53, from contacting him. Johnston reported Linda called the residence. Deputy Burns contacted Linda who stated she did call but it was in error. Linda was advised a report would be sent to the DA`s office.

John Rongley, 56,   called to report he found his neighbor face down and believed he was deceased. Deputy Burns responded to the Orland residence along with sgt. Vlach. The subject was located inside the residence and found to be deceased. The decedent was identified as Robert Steen, 79. According to Steen`s neighbors, he had just driven himself home from the hosptial. After sgt. Vlach completed his investigation, deputy Burns completed a coronor`s investigation. Next of kin was notified.

Imogene Trimble, 83, reports loud music coming from a neighbor`s house. Sgt. Miranda responded and contacted Troy Smedley, 44, who immediately had the music turned down. No further action.

Deputies stopped a vehicle for violation 22450 vc. The driver, Jose Antonio Barajas, was found to have two outstanding misdemeanor warrants for his arrest. Barajas was arrested and booked into the Glenn County jail for warrant 08ncr06227 with the charge of 272 (a) vc and warrant 06ncr03758 with the charge of 1203.2 Pc and 2800.2 Vc. The total bail was $9,000.00. An extendable baton was located in the trunk of the vehicle. It was taken and booked into evidence and contraband to be destroyed.

Nick Limbaugh reported loud music coming from a party on county road 21. Deputy Brazzi responded to the party and contacted Jose Espinoza. The music was off when deputy Brazzi arrived. Espinoza advised that he would keep the music off for the night.

An anonymous citizen reported cattle out on county road 306, approximately two miles south of Elk Creek. Deputy Burns responded to the area. Deputy Burns checked the area as well as several miles beyond the reported area and was unable to locate any loose livestock.
