300 S VILLA AVE - An un-named caller from the Glenn County Office of Education reported that two suspicious subjects in a bus were approaching kids walking past the park. Sgt. Walter and Officer Alves contacted the subjects and they advised they were passing through from Texas to Oregon and were about out of money. The male owner of the bus said he was waiting for money to be deposited in his account before continuing. He was advised that the vehicle was over the weight limit for the street and he advised he would move the bus to a more appropriate location until Thursday when he would depart.
500 N HUMBOLDT AVE - Officer Alves responded to the area of 600 N. Humboldt Ave. to the report of a reckless driver in a white pickup. The vehicle was unable to be located. No further action.
615 S TEHAMA ST - Lori Wygant, age 45, contacted the police department requesting to file a stolen vehicle report. Upon speaking with Wygant it was determined to be a civil matter not a criminal matter at this time.
143 N YOLO ST - CSO Cano was dispatched to the back of the alley of 143 N. Yolo St. for a report of a vehicle with expired registration. Dispatch advised the vehicle had been driving with expired tags and it had just pulled into the above address.
Upon arrival he observed a1994 green Buick California License # 3NIC808. A registration check confirmed the vehicle was not expired.
500 JEFFERSON ST - Sgt. Walter responded to an unspecified location on Jefferson Street on a report from an un-named party regarding a black male adult solicitor headed northbound on that street. Soon after he arrived, SGt. Walter was pre-empted to another call prior to contacting any solicitor.
1201 W WOOD ST -
An anonymous caller reported that juveniles to the north side of 1201 W. Wood Street were throwing “rocks and bottles” at juveniles on the other side of the fence at 600 N. Humboldt Ave. On arrival, Sgt, Walter contacted a half dozen children between the ages of 5 and 8 who advised that some bigger kids had been throwing rocks to dislodge a ball from a tree. Indeed, a ball was observed stuck in the branches far up in the tree at the northeast corner of the parking lot at 1201 W. Wood St. The children were cautioned against any further rock throwing.
451 S VILLA AVE - Sgt. Walter responded to an alarm call at the Glenn County Office of Education buiding at 451 S. Villa Ave. On arrival he contacted an employee who advised the alarm had been set by another employee while she was still inside.
