Letter: Sober grad group says thank you

The Orland High Safe & Sober Grad Parent Group and OHS senior class would like to send a big thank you out to our local community, to friends, family, business people and friendly faces who purchased raffle tickets.

Winners were picked at Orland Round Table on Feb. 11, by the school's principal and vice principals. Donna Royce won the trip to Hawaii; Susan Clealand won the San Francisco Get-A-Way weekend; Buck Klarenbach won $1,000; Veronica Flores won $500; Betty Irwin won $300; and Rod Boone won $200.

Hamilton City sold the most tickets, with Corning and then Willows closely behind. Orland sold the least tickets but plans be the big winner next year. Again, we say thank you to the great community we live in.
