• Favorite part of the jobs: Helping people.

• What part of your job would you gladly give up? Paperwork

• What do you like most about Orland? It's a small community.

• What would you like to change in Orland? There needs to be more things for the kids to do. Not every kid wants to be involved with sports.

• What's the closest you have been to a famous person? I fixed Emily Lou Harris's glasses one time.

• Tell us about a life-changing experience: When I had Kaitlyn.

• If you were granted one wish, what would you wish for? To be debt free.

• Whom do you most admire and why? My husband. Nothing stops him, even with polio, he keeps going.

• What are your favorite places to go in the area? The Japanese Tea Garden in San Francisco

• What was your first job? I was a receptionist at Sight for Sore Eyes.

• If you were a superhero, what would your power be? To alleviate pain.

• What is something you can't live without? Pepsi

• What's something about yourself that your friends might not know? That I am a grouchy morning person.

• Do you have any pet peeves? When people are late.

• Describe yourself in three words? Loving, caring and giving

• Pets: Three dogs: Bear, Hunter and Muffin; five cats; Callie, Princess, Midnight, V.V. and Shadow; three birds: Kiwi, Lime and Tequilla; and one fish, Barry.

• How do you unwind? I paint.

• Hobbies/interests: Make quilts and paint puppies and cats for the shelter shirts.

• Favorite thing to do on a rainy day: Curl up with a book.

• Dream job: I am doing it.

• Fondest memory: Meeting my husband.

• If you were reincarnated as an animal, which one would you be and why? A cat, because they are catered to and spoiled rotten.

• What is your guilty pleasure? Getting sweets at Alta Marie's Bakery.

• What was your favorite toy as a child? My drawing set

• Worst TV show: "Reno 911"

• Favorite movie: "To Sir with Love"

• Worst movie ever made: "Three Amigos"

• Worst fear: Losing my kids.

• Most embarrassing moment: Forgetting the rings at my wedding ceremony.

• What would you do for a Klondike Bar? Nothing, I don't like them.
