Easter Sunday
Children take off for an Easter egg hunt at Library Park Friday morning. The first- and second -graders from Mill Street Elementary School walked from the school to the park, seemingly not noticing the chilly air, to collect plastic eggs filled with candy. Kindergartners got their turn later in the day. C.K. Price Middle School Builders Club members hid the eggs around the park. Before the hunt began, students repeated a chant to help them remember what to do: "You only get two eggs. You get what you get and you don't throw a fit. You touch it, you keep it and then you come back."
