Tour at Mill Street school

A tour of the Mill Street School facilities is scheduled for 3:15 p.m. today.

It will include members of the Orland Unified School District board and other school officials. The school is located at at 102 Second St.

Superintendent Chris von Kleist said the project's architect, contractor and a state facilities inspector also will attend.

Coffee fundraiser March 7

Dutch Bros. Coffee of Orland will donate $1 for every drink sold to the Orland Safe and Sober Grad Night from 5:30 a.m. — 5 p.m. March 7.

Dutch Bros. is located at 904 Newville Road.

Annual rummage sale slated

The Orland Women's Improvement Club will hold its 63rd annual Rummage Sale from 9:30 a.m. — 6 p.m. March 1, and 9:30 a.m. — 3 p.m. March 2 in Flaherty Hall at the Glenn County Fairgrounds, 221 E. Yolo St., Orland.

The event supports books for the public library, recreation, scholarships, and various worthy causes in the Orland area.

Donations of adult and children's clothes, furniture, household items, jewelry, linens, small appliances, and toys are needed. Computers, large appliances, mattresses, or telephones will not be accepted.

Donations of rummage items will be accepted from 9:30 a.m. — 3 p.m. Feb. 23-27 and 9:30 a.m. — noon Feb. 28 at Flaherty Hall.

Larger items such as furniture may be dropped off Feb. 28.

Pickup and storage can be arranged by calling 865-2115 or 519-3174.

Volunteers sought for market

Glenn County Certified Farmers Market is seeking volunteers for the advisory committee.
