Willows Police Report: July 19

655 S PLUMAS ST - Officers K. Meek, J. Meek, Brown and Sgt Dahl responded to 655 S. Plumas Street for a disturbance.  Officers contacted Jamie Baker (37) who advised he had been in a disturbance with his brother in law, Lance Taylor (40).  Taylor had left prior to officers arrival and Baker did not request any further law enforcement assistance.

800 W LAUREL ST - Officer J. Meek stopped a vehicle driven by Brian Parker, 44, of Willows for a vehicle code violation on W Laurel St. Parker was arrested for driving under the influence of narcotics, possession of power tools with altered serial numbers, and a parole violation. The passenger, Deanna Mc Garr, 40, of Willows was also arrested for being under the influence of narcotics. Both were booked into Glenn County jail.

255 N TEHAMA ST - Sergeant Dahl along with Officers Brown, K. Meek and J. Meek responded to Holi Market for the report of a shoplifting. Upon arrival officers identified the suspect as Nicholas Hoxie (23 YOA). Hoxie was contacted and it was determined there was a misunderstanding. Hoxie went back to Holi Market and paid for the items he took.

500 S TEHAMA ST - Officer Brown initiated a vehicle enforcement stop in the 500 block of S Tehama St for a mechanical violation. The driver, Arturo Castillo (20 YOA) of Willows, was found to be driving without a license. Castillo was cited and released and the vehicle was towed and stored by Hi-Way Towing.

400 E LAUREL ST - Officer Gridley responded to the 400 block of E Laurel Street on a report of a suspicious vehicle.  Upon arrival, the suspect vehicle was not located. 

328 S LASSEN ST
Officer Gridley responded to 9 Donnie Lane and contacted Pamela Baeza (49) regarding a possible restraining order violation.  A subsequent investigation determined no restraining order violation occurred. 

1201 W WOOD ST - Officer Gridley responded to 1201  W Wood Street Apartment 20 and contacted Gary Cooper (58) regarding a noise complaint.  Upon arrival, Cooper complained that his neighbor, Sam Giordano (33), was banging on his wall.  Giordano was contacted and advised of the complaint.  He advised he was not intentionally banging on the wall and agreed to be more careful.

825 S TEHAMA ST - Officers K. Meek, Gridley and Sergeant Dahl responded to a medical aid for a man down at 825 S. Tehama St.  Officers assisted medics with CPR on an (80) year old subject.  He was transported by Enloe Ambulance.
