• What part of your job would you gladly give up? Working in the rain.

• What do you like most about Orland? It's not crowded, and it's quiet.

• What would you like to change in Orland? We need a store like Wal-Mart or Target. Other than that, I love it here.

• What's the closest you have been to a famous person? I met John McCain and got his autograph.

• Tell us about a life-changing experience: When I moved to Orland.

• If you were granted one wish, what would you wish for? A cure for cancer

• Whom do you most admire and why? My dad and my wife. My dad because he was a very hard worker and he was faithful to his family. My wife because she has put up with me and continues to put up with me.

• What was your first job? I worked on my family's dairy farm in Merced.

• What is something you can't live without? My family

• Do you have any pet peeves? Dishes in the sink and a dirty floor. I like a clean floor.

• Describe yourself in three words? Determined, fun and loving

• Pets: A border collie, Bell, and my herd of cows.

• How do you unwind? I don't, that's my problem. I do watch Judge Judy, though.

• Hobbies/interests: Showing dairy cattle, playing around in the garden. I love to cook.

• Where do you get your news? Orland Press-Register, national news online, radio and TV.

• Favorite thing to do on a rainy day: Stay inside

• Dream job: I am doing it.

• Fondest memory: Getting married.

• What is your guilty pleasure? Cowgirl Mt. Tam triple cream brie cheese.
