Ruth Marie Garrett

Services were held Thursday for Ruth Marie Garrett of Orland at Masonic Cemetery.
Ruth, 85, died July 5, 2008 in Willows. She was born July 11, 1922 in Little Rock, AK. She was a member of the Orland Rebecca Lodge. She loved hunting, gardening, fishing, quilting and crafting dolls.
Survivors include her daughter Lydia Thompson of Orland; son Ron Garrett of Orland; sister Edith Smith of Fort Bragg; nine grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter in 1984 and two sons, Jerry and Walter.
Arrangements are under the direction F.D. Sweet and Son Mortuary in Orland.
