Community Briefs: Corned beef dinner served
The Orland Eagles will serve a corned beef dinner from 6:30p.m-7:30 p.m. Friday at the Orland Eagles Hall, 6381 County Road 200, Orland.
The cost is $9 for adults, $5 for children 6-12 or free for children under 6.

Spaghetti feast is Saturday
North Valley Christian School's 10th annual Spaghetti Dinner and Auction will be held Saturday at Willows Memorial Hall, 525 W. Sycamore St., Willows.
The auction preview will begin at 5 p.m., with dinner being served at 5:30. The cost is $5 per person or $20 per family.
The featured auction item will be a Ruger M77 Hawkeye Rifle. Other prizes, gift certificates and baked goods will also be auctioned.
For tickets or more information, contact the school at 865-4924. Tickets ordered by phone can be mailed or held at the entrance. Tickets may also be purchased from any student of Oak Tree Christian School or Providence Christian High School.
Sober Grad fundraiser Saturday
Orland High School Safe & Sober Grad will host a BBQ fundraiser from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and Les Schwab Tire Center, corner of Highway 99W and South Street, Orland. The event is sponsored by Les Schwab.
Hamburgers, cheeseburgers, meal deals and treats will be available for purchase.
Caring for the caregiver
The Platinum Club for Glenn County Seniors will meet at 9:30 a.m. March 22 inside the large conference room at Glenn Medical Center, 1133 W. Sycamore St., Willows.
Wade Elliott of WestHaven Assisted Living in Orland will present "Caring for the Caregiver - Healthy Choices and Options."

Family reading night March 29
Celebrate Cesar Chavez's legacy at a free community event sponsored by the Glenn Literacy Project and the Parent Partners from 4-6:30 p.m. at the Orland Free Library, 333 Mill St.
Bilingual story hours featuring Chavez's history, creative writing activities for all ages, materials to create your own book, puppet shows, bingo, free books, snacks and library card sign-ups will be available.
