Corvette club to meet

The Americana Corvette Club will meet at 7 p.m. Jan. 17 at Logan's Roadhouse, 1900 E. 20th St., Chico.

Motor-Icicle Run set

The annual Motor-Icicle Run, a pledge ride to fund a memorial for the Orland's heroes and to light the historic Orland Arch, will be held Jan. 19, 2013.

Meet at the Orland Fire Department, Fifth and Colusa streets, at 7 a.m. for a pancake breakfast, $6, followed by the ride, 8 a.m.-10 a.m.

A chili feed, 50/50 and prize raffle will follow immediately after the ride.

Entry fee is $20 per rider and $5 per passenger.

Pledges are encouraged.

Blood drive Jan. 24

An Orland community blood drive will be held from 2 p.m.-6 p.m. Jan. 24 inside the Social Hall at the Federated Church of Orland, 709 First St.

Donors must be in generally good health, free from cold symptoms for at least 48 hours, and weigh at least 110 pounds.

Must be at least 17-years-old, or 16 with parental consent.

Spaghetti feed slated

The Orland Volunteer Fire Department will host its 58th annual spaghetti feed from 11 a.m. — 8 p.m. Feb. 2 at the Orland Fire Department, 810 Fifth St., Orland.

Spaghetti, garlic bread, green salad, milk, water and hot coffee will be served for donations.

Takeout orders also available.

A cake auction, silent auction, and raffle will be held, with proceeds used to purchase rescue equipment, such at a Thermal Imaging Camera.

Bay tour planned

The Capay Rancho Women's Club will host a 5-hour shuttle tour of San Francisco, including a ferry cruise, on Feb. 14.

The cost is $104 per person.
