Red Cross aids fire relief effort

On Tuesday, the Three Rivers Red Cross responded to two wildfires - one in Orland and one in Oroville.  At the request of county offices we set up evacuation centers. The center in Orland closed after several hours, but we served many clients.  Oroville has turned into a regular shelter.

The Three Rivers Chapter of the American Red Cross is accepting donations for their Disaster Relief Fund.  You may send a check to the chapter office, 2125 E. Onstott Road, Yuba City, CA 95991.

Charles McCaul, Emergency Services director, Three Rivers Red Cross, Yuba City
