0100 hrs Officer Cessna and Sgt. Vlach were sent to 512 South St. for alarm activation. Officer checked the building and found it to be secure.

1100 hrs Officer Landis was sent to 221 E Shasta St Apt #16 for a reported stolen vehicle. Officers Landis and Lopeteguy arrived on scene and contacted Gabriela Ramos of Orland. Ramos said that her vehicle had been stolen on the morning of 7/13/08.

1227 hrs Officer Landis was sent to 94 Rennat Way for a parking complaint. Officer contacted 36y/o Tina Thomas of Orland. Thomas said that her vehicles were blocked by a burgundy Chevy pickup. Officer contacted 26y/o Javier Llamas of Orland who agreed to move the vehicle.

1305 hrs Officer Landis was sent to 6th Street north of Walker Street for a report of possible drug paraphernalia being sold by a merchant. Officer contacted 57y/o Jeannette Turner. Turner was selling tobacco pipes. Turner had permission to be in the area by the property owner.

1645 hrs Officer Landis was sent to 1019 Winterpine Dr. for a report of shots fired. Officers Landis, Lopeteguy and Sgt. Tolle contacted 30 y/o Rosa Ramirez, 25 y/o Kennedy Maniphon, and 46 y/o Roberto Calva all of Orland in the 1000 block of Winterpine. Witnesses heard the shots but were unsure of the location. Officers were unable to locate the location of the shots heard.

1705 hrs Officer Landis was sent to the Orland High School for a report of several adult males drinking. Officers Landis and Lopeteguy arrived on scene, and found a soccer game in progress next to North Valley. Officers were unable to locate any subjects drinking.
