Union steps in for management

Dear Editor:

A sad day has arrived when (Willows Unified Teachers Association) union president Michael Dennis has to do management’s dirty work for them. It makes me wonder what he has been offered.

As a former member of three different unions, and union president for one of them for 18 years, I learned one thing – it is the union president’s job to negotiate a contract with management and then police it. He has overstepped his authority and is a disgrace to unions.
