Cancer benefit lunch

A cancer benefit lunch for Necia Pacheco Silva will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. today at the Orland Fire Department, 810 Fifth St. Lunch includes barbecue tri-tip sandwich, salad, chips and a drink for $8. Dine-in or take-out available. All proceeds will go toward medical and related expenses. Tickets are available and donations will be accepted at Sav-Mor Market, 32 E. Walker St. and at Garnet Hill, 718 Fourth St.

Certified Farmers Market

Orland will host the Glenn County Certified Farmers Market today from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday's at Library Park. Fresh fruits and vegetables, local meats, specialty oils, baked goods, arts and crafts, community groups, music and more will be available.
