Letter: Craft fair a great show

We are sending this letter to publicly thank the Orland Historical & Cultural Society for sponsoring the Orland Craft Fair this weekend.

The fall weather was fantastic and the turnout of people attending seemed terrific to us. We want to thank Olga Peterson and all of the other members of the group for their efforts to make the weekend a success.

The Orland Safe & Sober Grad Group had two places to handle. First we had our Wreath and Tamale table. Secondly, we had the Grand Raffle Table, which is our co-effort with Willows, Hamilton and Corning high schools to win a trip to Hawaii, a weekend in San Francisco with four Giants tickets and lots of big cash prizes. Raffle winner is drawn on Feb. 11.

You can still purchase wreaths or pre-order tasty tamales for the next couple weeks, or buy Grand Raffle tickets ($10) by ordering with any OHS Senior student or their parent or calling me at 330-3099 or Kathleen Acosta at 520-5873.
