Occupation: Busser/hostess at Farwood Bar and Grill. I've been working there for 31⁄2 years.
Hobbies and interests: Swimming on the Orland Otters is my summer interest. Also, I am involved with the college ministry, Zoe, in Chico. I also like to play the piano. Classical, yes, but I also love to play contemporary.
What are your goals for the upcoming year? My goals this year are to graduate from high school, get enough money to move to Chico and learn to drive a stick-shift vehicle.
What was the best thing that happened to you in 2011? I met my boyfriend, Josuha Reese.
What was the worst thing that happened to you in 2011? I lost a really good friend in a car accident.
Whom do you most admire and why? I admire Kaylen Wilson and her ability to stay focused while living a busy lifestyle. She is an inspiration to me because of her walk with God and how strong she is as a person.
What's something about yourself that your friends might not know? My friends pretty much know everything about me. I'm a very open person and I prefer not to keep secrets.
What is your dream job? I want to be a social worker that cares for the foster kids and not just takes them from their parents and gives them to just anyone. I want to listen to the foster kids and help them in any way I can, whether it's counseling them or just holding them when they cry.
What qualities in people do you most admire? Integrity, humor and compassion.
What is guaranteed to make you smile? Doughnuts, Red Bull and my boyfriend.
What are you thankful for? Being alive; having the friends and family that I have; and most of all, the assurance of salvation and knowing that when I die I'll go to heaven.
What are some of your fondest memories? My dad making me pancakes every Sunday morning; and movie night with my family, having popcorn, and putting the couches together and snuggling.
Most embarrassing moment? I went through four hours of work with my fly down. Luckily no one said anything, but my boss did after work.
Biggest accomplishment? My biggest accomplishment is saving enough money for three years to buy my own car.
What do you hope to see happen this upcoming year? To graduate from high school, finish my general education in college, and have a fun summer.
