Basketball Camp

Hamilton High School hosts a basketball camp for third through ninth graders on July 31 and Aug. 1. The fee, $35, includes a T-shirt. Grades 3-5 will meet from 9 a.m. to noon and grades 6-9 will meet from 1-4 p.m. For more information, contact Coach Erikson at 518-1221.

William Finch work party

William Finch Charter School parents are invited to a work party at 8 a.m. Saturday at the Glenn County Learning Center, 451 South Villa Avenue in Willows. The front lawn will be replaced with new sod. Shovels, rakes and other garden equipment are needed. For information, call Susan Domenighini at 865-1683.

National Night Out

The Orland Volunteers in Police Services will host National Night Out from 6-9 p.m. Aug. 3 at Library Park. Agencies and vendor booths are available. There will be free games for the kids, live music, food for sale the traditional Jail and Bail. Be arrested or have your friends arrested and see who can raise the most bail money. Proceeds go to the VIPS.
