0200 hrs Sgt. Baker, Officer Stover, Officer Johnson and GCSO Deputy Owens responded to the USA Gas Station on Hoff Way regarding a possible domestic dispute in progress. The parties involved left in a green car in an unknown direction of travel. Deputy Owens located the vehicle southbound on I-5 at County Road 16 and conducted an investigative stop. The driver, Rebecca Paulson 43 of Rohnert Park and passenger Michael Brigaerts 42 of Vineberg were interviewed and released. The disturbance was determined to be verbal only.
0950 hrs Sgt Tolle stopped a 1991 Nissan Santza on I-5 southbound at South St for a registration violation. The driver, 18 y/o Orland resident Amanda Walsh was found to be unlicensed. Walsh was issued a citation for the violation and her vehicle was stored with Zips Towing.
1405 hrs Officer Landis was dispatched to 240 E Mill St. Apt # 2 for a reported vandalism. Forty two y/o Dayna Bible of Orland and 69 y/o Bill Dehoff of Capay reported that a side door on the residence had been kicked in, causing approximately $300 in damage. Dehoff requested documentation and extra patrol.
1151 hrs Officers Cessna and Landis were dispatched to the Orland Cleaners at 726 Fifth St. for a report of a reckless driver. Officers contacted the driver, 58 y/o Rachel Mandel who was no longer in the vehicle. Mandel was counseled and released. No further action was taken by OPD.
1509 hrs Sgt. Tolle made a traffic stop at Eighth and Swift Streets for a vehicle driving in a reckless and unsafe manner. Sgt. Tolle contacted the driver, 58 y/o Rachel Mandel. Officer Landis assisted Sgt. Tolle and was contacted by 35 y/o Margie Sheldon of Orland. Sheldon advised that Mandel ran a cross walk at Fairview School while children were crossing. Mandel was arrested for reckless driving and booked into the Glenn County Jail.
1420 hrs Officers Cessna and Landis were contacted at the Orland Police Department by 51 y/o Orland resident Brandon Colby. Colby stated that he was pushed by his sister, 58 y/o Orland resident Stephanie Campbell. Colby placed Campbell under arrest. Campbell was cited and released.
1820 hrs Sgt. Baker responded to an alarm at the Bank of America. The building was checked and appeared to be secure.
1804 hrs Officer Cessna and Sgt. Baker responded to a disturbance at 307 Colusa St. The officers contacted 46 y/o Lalita Rayford who had been drinking. Rayford was arrested for a violation of probation and booked into the Glenn County Jail.
2023 hrs Officer Cessna and Sgt. Baker responded to Huggins Dr. west of Co Rd G. to assist CHP. The officers remained on scene providing assistance until no longer needed.
