Veterans flea market today
Glenn County veterans will hold a flea market from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. Saturday at Willows Memorial Hall, 525 W. Sycamore St., Willows.

Today is pantry pickup
A Simple Gesture food pickup for the Orland Pantry will take place from 9 a.m. - noon today.
The pantry's last pickup in December resulted in 4,000 pounds of donated non-perishable food items. Christmas food boxes were distributed to 417 families; and last month 5,136 meals were donated to those in need in the communities of Orland, Capay, Hamilton City, Ord Bend and Artois.

Annual rummage sale slated
The Orland Women's Improvement Club will hold its 63rd annual Rummage Sale, from 9:30 a.m. - 6 p.m. March 1, and 9:30 a.m. - 3 p.m. March 2, in Flaherty Hall at the Glenn County Fairgrounds, 221 E. Yolo St., Orland.
The sale supports books for the public library, recreation, scholarships, and various worthy causes in the Orland area. Donations of adult and children's clothes, furniture, household items, jewelry, linens, small appliances, and toys are needed. Computers, large appliances, mattresses, or telephones will not be accepted.
Donations of rummage items will be accepted from 9:30 a.m. — 3 p.m. Feb. 23-27 and 9:30 a.m. — noon Feb. 28 at Flaherty Hall.
Larger items such as furniture may be dropped off Feb. 28.
