Eddie Felkins

A graveside service for Eddie Dean Felkins, 68, of Willows is at 10 a.m. Friday at Gridley-Biggs Cemetery in Gridley. Interment will follow.

Felkins died Oct. 4, 2008, at Enloe Medical Center in Chico after battling leukemia. He was born in Minneola, Kansas, on Oct. 27, 1939, and moved with his family to Gridley where he attended Gridley schools. He married his high school sweetheart, Theresa Meador, and they moved to Willows, where he operated Ed Felkins Plumbing from 1983 to 2003.

Felkins is survived by his wife, Theresa Felkins of Willows; sons Mark Felkins of Gridley and son and daughter-in-law Jeff and Terry Felkins of Fort Bragg; father Ross Felkins of Gridley; brother Kenneth Felkins of Auburn; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
