    What do you like most about Orland? I moved here July 1, and the people have been so friendly and helpful getting me settled.

    What is the closest you've been to a famous person? Paul McCartney played an impromptu concert at a restaurant in Truckee called Moody.

    Tell us about a life-changing experience: I lost everything I owned because of the economy. It made me remember monetary items don't mean anything. As long as you have family, that is all that matters.

    Whom do you most admire and why? My mom, she has a great sense of humor and she is timeless.

    What are your favorite places to go in the area? Sacramento River and Black Butte Lake

    What was your first job? I was a cashier at Mandee's in Burchfield, N.J.

    If you were a superhero, what would your power be? The ability to disappear.

    What's something you can't live without? My chick flicks.

    What's something about yourself that your friends might not know? I wouldn't be telling you...

    Do you have any pet peeves? When people are rude to each other.

    Describe yourself in three words: I love fun.

    What kind of pets do you have? Two dogs, Charlie, a chocolate Lab, Sadie, a black Lab/walker hound, and Kattie Kat, my Persian cat.

    Hobbies/interests: Kayaking, exploring, dirt bikes, hiking and gardening.

    What's your favorite quote? "You have to find the child within and stay young at heart."

    What's your favorite thing to do on a rainy day? Go outside and get wet.

    What is your dream job? To own my own flower and tree nursery. I just love watching things grow.

    What are some of your fondest memories? Watching my daughter, Katie, learn how to water ski.

    What would you want for your last meal? Filet mignon and lobster.

    If you were reincarnated as an animal, what would you be and why? A coyote. They are fierce protectors of their young and they are also happy-go-lucky.

    What's your guilty pleasure? Yogurt-covered raisins, pudding, chocolate cake

    What quality in people do you most admire? I like when people laugh in the face of danger.

    What was your favorite toy as a child? My horse racing game
