Family: I have family here in Orland, my dad, sister, daughter-in-law and grandchildren. Other grandchildren live in Sacramento, Patterson and Lodi. My daughter lives in Sacramento and I have a son in Santa Cruz and a son in Vacaville.

City of residence: Nine years in Orland.

Occupation: Homemaker and a part-time Butte College student.

Hobbies and interests: Gardening, sewing, reading and spending time with the grandchildren.

What are your goals for the upcoming year? Finish classes for my teaching degree.

Whom do you most admire and why? My father, he is so wise.

What's something about yourself that your friends might not know? My best friends should know all about me, I think.

What is your dream job? Teaching.

What quality in people do you most admire? Honesty.

What is guaranteed to make you smile? Flowers, babies and puppies.

What are you thankful for? My family.

What are some of your fondest memories? Not sure, but they all involve family.

Most embarrassing moment? Do I have to say? Ha.

Biggest accomplishment? Getting my college degrees.

What do you hope to see happen this upcoming year? Peace in this world.
