Platinum Club meeting

Glenn Medical Center will host the Platinum Club meeting from 9:30-11 a.m. Thursday in the large conference room, 1133 W. Sycamore St., Willows. The topic of discussion will be "Ensuring your health information integrity." Please RSVP to Deborah at 934-1881.

Glenn County 4-H

Glenn County 4-H will hold New Member Sign-up meetings at 7 p.m. Thursday at Round Table Pizza in Willows, 1237 W. Wood St., and at 7 p.m. Sept. 9 at the 4-H office in Orland, 821 E. South St. For more information, call 865-1107.

Farmers Market Dinner

Bring your lawn chairs and join the community for an evening in the park.

The Glenn County Certified Farmers Market will host a dinner and community block party beginning with a social hour at 5 p.m., dinner at 6 and live music at 7 on Saturday at Library Park. Dinner will be served by Farwood Bar and Grill, and desserts by Alta Marie's Bakery, along with local wines and beverages.

Tickets are $25 each and can be purchased at Farwood Bar and Grill, Umpqua Bank, the Chamber of Commerce, La Perla Tapatia, Farmers Insurance, Tri-Counties Bank, Alta Marie's Bakery, and Golden Hills Financial Services.

A Kid's Corner, featuring hot dogs, chips and a drink and games will be available for $5. �
