Police Blotter: Oct. 10

The following arrests in Glenn County resulted in felony charges or driving under the influence. All defendants are considered innocent until proven guilty.

Felonies

David George Harris, 56, of the 6000 block of County Road 16, Orland, was arrested by the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office at 12:01 p.m. Oct. 5 on County Road 16 on suspicion of carrying a concealed weapon with a prior conviction and possession of a controlled substance. He was booked into Glenn County Jail.

Richard Allen Johnson, of Corning, was arrested by the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office at 1:30 p.m., Oct. 6 at Highway 99 and South Street, Corning, on suspicion of grand theft. He was booked into Glenn County Jail.

Monte Leon Coley, 38, of Chico, was arrested by the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office at 10:00 p.m., Oct. 6 at the Glenn County Jail, Willows, on suspicion of grand theft from a person. He was booked into Glenn County Jail.

Nathan Tyrone Davis, 31, of the 600 block of North Humboldt Avenue, Willows was arrested by the Willows Police Department at 1:00 p.m., Oct. 7 at his residence on suspicion of lewd and lascivious acts with a child under 14 with force.

Sean Thomas Smutny, 23, of the 6000 block of County Road 200, Orland, was arrested by the Glenn Interagency Narcotics Task Force at 1:35 p.m., Oct. 7 at his residence on suspicion of possession of marijuana or hashish, transporting a controlled substance for sale, possession of a controlled substance for sale, possession of marijuana or hashish for sale, and possession of a controlled substance. He was booked into Glenn County Jail.

Driving under the influence

Kevin Mitchel Burley, 18, of Hollister, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol at 9:05 p.m. Oct. 2 on Highways 45 and 32. He was booked into Glenn County Jail.

Luis Espinoza-Camarena, 47, of the 400 block of Yolo Street, Orland, was arrested by the Orland Police Department at 12:32 a.m. Oct. 2 at Papst Avenue and County Road 15, Orland. He was booked into Glenn County Jail.

Martin Flores, 43, of the 200 block of North Culver Street, Willows, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol at 5:02 p.m. Oct. 2 on County Road 5. He was booked into Glenn County Jail.

Daniel Christopher Alves, 23, of the 6900 block of County Road 39, Willows, was arrested by the Willows Police Department at 2:43 a.m. Oct. 3 on Garden Street at Fifth Street, Willows. He was booked into Glenn County Jail.

Jose Luis Canales-Juarez, 39, of the 500 block of North Shasta Street, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol at 10:01 p.m. Oct. 4 at County Road 57 and Interstate 5, Willows. He was booked into Glenn County Jail.

Brian Clinton Wood, 32, of Stockton, was arrested at 3:43 a.m. Oct. 4 at County Road 57 and Interstate 5, Willows. He was booked into Glenn County Jail.

Mario Alberto Zarco, 19, of the 200 block of East Colusa Street, Orland, was arrested at 11:45 p.m. Oct. 4 on the corner of East Yolo and Woodward Streets. He was booked into Glenn County Jail.
