Police blotter: January 20, 2010

DUI

Alfredo Medonza Jimenez, 51, of Orland, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol at County Rd. H and 16 at 6:53 p.m. on Jan. 16 on suspicion of driving while intoxicated. He was booked into the Glenn County Jail.

Sherri Maureen Vanalwick, 46, of the 8300 block of Hwy. 162, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol on Hwy. 162 at and County Rd. 2 at 8:22 p.m. on Jan. 16 on suspicion of driving while intoxicated. She was booked into the Glenn County Jail.

Trevor Lee Nelson, 26, of Orland, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol at County Rd. P and 18 at 8:37 p.m. on Jan. 18 on suspicion of driving while intoxicated. He was booked into the Glenn county Jail.

FELONY

Justin Christopher Smith, 22, of Oroville, was arrested by the Orland police at County Roads P and 18 at 11:30 p.m. on Jan. 18 on suspicion of vandalism, shooting at an unoccupied motor vehicle, willful discharge of firearm in a negligent manner, criminal conspiracy, participating in criminal street gang: Specific circumstance, possession of a deadly weapon, street gang member carrying a loaded firearm and a convicted person in possession of a firearm. He was booked into the Glenn County Jail.
