Street to be repaved

The City Council approved the project Tuesday night to be paid out of city gas tax and street funds.
That section of the street is in rough shape, City Manager Pete Carr said.

The council awarded the bid to Knife River Construction for up to $39,000.
The overall cost is $54,000 but the owners of a nearby gas station have offered to contribute $15,000 to the project since the pavement overlay will enhance their property, he said.
