Clothing exchange

A clothing drive and exchange will be held from 9 a.m. to noon today at the First Christian Church of Orland, 635 A St. Area residents are invited to bring any clean clothing they no longer want to the church building, where tables will be set up to receive the clothing. From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. all the clothing collected will be given away free to whoever wants it and free cold drinks will be served.

Donations will also be accepted ahead of time on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 9 a.m. to noon. For more information, call 865-4262.

101 in the Shade

The Orland Centennial Committee invites organizations to participate in its 101 in the Shade event from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. today at Library Park. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Orland Centennial Celebration Fund. For more information, contact Centennial Central, Salvagno's, at 865-4717.

Basketball Camp

Hamilton City High School will host a basketball camp for children in the third through ninth grades July 31 through August 1. The fee is $35 per player and includes a T-shirt. Sign-ups will be taken the day of the camp. Grades 3-5 will meet from 9 a.m. to noon and grades 6-9 will meet from 1-4 p.m. For more information, contact Coach Erikson at 518-1221. �
