911 Call - anon. Female caller reporting possible fight in progress at a residence across from 420 Main St. Address determined to be 485 Main St. Resident, Gilbert Cabral Sr. Was in an argument and fight with his adult son, Gilbert Cabral Jr., Who showed up at his residence. Cabral Jr. Left prior to deputy’s arrival. Cabral sr. Did not want to pursue the matter against his son.

Jeremy Knight, 33, was released from the jail and transported to Glenn Medical center for medical reasons.  While he was in the hospital it was discovered he had inserted contraband in his rectum in an effort to smuggle it into the facility.  He removed the contraband and turned it over to corporal Nelson unknown contents of the packets at this time.

Deborah Watkins, requests to speak to a deputy regarding an argument she had earlier with her spouse, Kenneth Watkins, who has left the residence. Rp contacted and given advice about civil matters.

Alarm sounding from business. Per alarm co, sounding from front door, res contact pending.  Building checked and found to be secure.

Art Leonard, manager of Orland Cemetary on county road P, reported a shed at the cemetery was burglarized over the weekend.  A subject cut the padlock on the gate, entered the shed and stole a 13-foot trailer.  Leonard estimated the loss to be $1,000. Case under investigation.

Don Toenjes, 76, called to report  an electric boat motor had been stolen from his property. Deputy burns responded to Toenjes residence. Toenjes reported an unknown person(s) trespassed on his property and stole a boat motor out of his orchard he used as farm equipment. Toenjes reported the theft of a black and white Minnkota salt water boat motor. Estimated loss $410.00. Believed to have occurred Saturday evening.

Christena Cox, (87,  called 911 and reported her son had terminal cancer and shot himself in her residence.  OPD Sgt Tolle, officer Landis, Westside Ambulance and deputy Knouse responded to the Orland residence. Christopher Winters, 46,  suffered from a terminal illness and ended his life with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.  Winters was deceased upon arrival.  After OPD investigation, scene turned over to deputy Knouse for coroner`s investigation.

An anonymous citizen called to report loud music coming from a residence near them. Deputy Burns responded to the area of county road K and county road 18. Contact was made with a nearby resident, Kari Straight, 48. Straight had been watching a movie and the volume was turned up. Straight agreed to turn the volume down after being notified of the complaint. No further action requested.

Lily Alberico, a citizen in Artois, reported the theft of a battery off of a diesel pump. Deputy Burns responded to Alberico`s residence. The battery had been in an orchard at the corner of county road M and county road 33. Alberico stated  she was informed by one of her workers the battery was gone and they had already replaced it. Alberico reported the battery as a possible Cummings brand, 12 volt, worth $200.00.

GCSO dispatch advised there was a 911 hang up at a residence in hamilton city. Dispatch attempted to call the residence back and a female advised her juvenile was playing with the telephone. Deputy Burns responded to the residence and contacted, Sandra Morales, 18. No one was in need of assistance at the residence. Morales stated her 20 month old son had got a hold of the telephone. No further action.

Gene Anderson, a passing motorist, reported a bicycle upside down partially hidden in the bushes on highway 32, west of Hamilton City. Deputy Burns responded to the location. Deputy Burns checked the area and was unable to locate any bicycles on the side of the roadway. No further action.

Brian Kaps, 34, called reporting his friend was suicidal and making statements that he was going to,” blow his head off with a shotgun.” Deputy Burns, Knouse, sgt. Miranda, and sgt. Arlin responded to the residence. The subject, a 33 year-old male, exited the residence when called from outside. Subject was detained for his own safety. Subject’s aunt and grandmother confirmed the statements made by him. The subject agreed to speak to mental health and was transported to Glenn Medical Center.

Adam Hilton, called from Colorado requesting a welfare check on his juvenile daughter at an address on county road 39. Hilton advised he believed his ex-girlfriend took their daughter out of state, violating their court order. Deputy burns responded to the residence. It appeared as though someone was home but would not answer the door. Hilton was advised to contact local authories in Colorado to report the incident due to a possible kidnapping accross state lines. No further action at this time.

A 39-year-old male, reported his son as a runaway several times in the last few weeks. He states the juvenile is now at home. Deputies Owens and Burns responded and spoke with the juvenile’s mother. She stated her son left prior to deputies’ arrival with a family friend and would be back later. The juvenile  age 16) was removed from mups. Nothing further was requested (see narrative).

An alarm company for a residence in Elk Creek reported a motion alarm sounding. Deputy Burns responded to the residence. A responsible, Alan Greenacre, for the property arrived with a key. Deputy Burns checked the residence and found the back screen door of the residence torn open. Entry was not made into the residence. The owner of the residence, Maurie Hoover, was notified by greenacre regarding the damage. Report taken for vandalism and attempted burglary.

Anthony Camozzi, 40, reports possible tro violations by Tina Camozzi, 37.  Restrained party is attempting contact with protected persons through a third party.  Rp requests the incident be documented only.

Humberto Montezuma, reports someone drove by his residence in a purple sedan and threw rocks at his front window breaking the window. No other suspect info.

Janice Cooper reported her grand- daughter  had been threatened earlier in the day. Cooper requested a deputy contact the juvenile by phone. Deputy Owens contacted the subject who said a car with four females  she went to high school with pulled up to her house and tried calling her out of her residence to possibly challenge her in a fight. The subject stated the car then left. She requested this incident be documented.
