'Herbicide' weeds out spellers

Mori Leveroni, 9, of Plaza Elementary School, spelled more words related to agriculture than any other student at the Agribee competition last week in Durham. Her winning word was "herbicide." Competing against third- and fourth-graders in Glenn and Butte counties, Mori won a laptop computer from the Butte County Farm Bureau.
