Letter, Businesses need to shop local, too

It amazes me when local businesses and businessmen and — women want us to keep our dollars local, I find that very amusing when they want me to shop locally.

When I drove past Westhaven in Orland, I was surprised when I saw this local business man using a glass company from Chico. I guess Mr. Elliott decided to give an out of town contractor the contract for the windows. Mr. Elliott is current mayor of Orland and a former board member of the Chamber of Commerce.

So much for buying locally.
