Concert in the Park
Wells Fargo Bank and P.G.P. International will sponsor the bluegrass/gypsy jazz band, Feather River Gypsies, at 6:30 p.m. Thursday as part of the Concert in the Park series at Memorial Park, located at 10th and Market streets in Colusa. A barbecue will be provided by the Colusa Lions Club.
Youth football sign-ups
The last day to sign up for the Colusa County Cowboys youth football and cheerleading will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at the Egling Middle School practice field. For more information, or to have a packet mailed to you, contact Becky Frias at 330-1563 or Tana Loudon Dye at 237-7431.
Old Time Fly-In
The Colusa County Aviation Association will host its 14th annual Old Time Fly-In at the Colusa County Airport, and event focused on the pilots and others who use the airstrip. A ceremony renaming the facility after longtime airport commission member and decorated aviation inventor Sid Pickles starts at 11 a.m. For more information, call Barry Krug at 458-0580 or email to halo@countyofcolusa.org.
Donate and save a life
The Knights of Columbus and Bloodsource will hold a blood drive from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sunday at St. Bernadette's Hall, 735 Ware St., Colusa. Donors will receive a pint of Baskin Robbins ice cream.
K-Line irrigation workshop
The U.C. Davis Cooperative Extension will host a K-Line irrigation workshop from 6-8 p.m. Monday at Elster Ranch, 12499 Elster Place in Grass Valley.
